Tea Cakes

Tea Cakes
 
2 sticks margarine     4 c. plain flour
1 3/4 c. sugar           1 tsp. cream of tarter
3/4 c. cooking oil      1 tsp. baking soda
2 large eggs               1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
 
Cream margarine; add sugar gradually beating until fluffy.  Add eggs and mix well; add oil and mix.  Then add vanilla.  mix cream of tartar, soda and salt with flour.  Add gradually to batter.  Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake at 325 degrees for 8 to 15 minutes.
