God's Favor

Up until a few years ago I have to admit that I hadn't really thought much about what it meant to have God's favor.  I mean I knew about His grace and mercy but I just didn't think about His favor.  Now, I experience His favor every single day.  God is SO good.  God wants to be good to me/us.  I believe that at times I have limited God's blessings from falling over me because I wasn't obedient and I didn't allow Him to be Lord of my life.  I decided several years ago that no matter what was going on in my life, I wanted to be obedient to my Heavenly Father, I wanted God to be first in my life and I wanted to seek Him and live my life to glorify Him.  A light bulb came on and I finally realized that God didn't create me for my pleasure but for HIS pleasure and HIS glory.  Once I truly accepted this and started to seek His purpose for my life, my life totally changed.

I see God's favor over me every single day in so many ways.  God orchestrates so many things in my life to work out and I do not hesitate to give HIM all the praise and glory.  I have seen His favor in big things and in small things, my marriage,  my family, in my job and now in this new business venture, Clyde and Marie's.

The most awesome thing is the freedom that I have felt by surrendering to God and His will in my life.  I have His unconditional love and to know that no matter what I do or when I mess up that He loves me anyway.  How awesome is this?!?!?!  He has poured His peace in and over me.  I have a joy in my heart that is unexplainable.  Knowing that God is sovereign and that I am HIS child give me a confidence that no matter what I face each day, He is right beside me in complete control.

My prayer for each of you is God's favor over you and your family.

Be Blessed!
