A Baby Won the War

I've always been taught that as a Christian we are in a spiritual battle (war) and we are told in God's Word that weapons are formed against us by Satan to try to get us to take our eyes off of our Father God.  Satan hates God so if you love God and you try to live for God you can expect to face warfare from the enemy.

Some days are easier in this battle than others.  As long as I'm prayed up and fed with God's Word daily, I can pretty much deal with the enemy.  However, when life get busy, and life's storms are raging, sometimes I find myself looking at my circumstances and taking my eyes off of the Almighty God. I allow the enemy's weapons to shoot fear in my  mind.  At that point, I have to take note and realize that I am a child of God and as long as I put on the armor of God daily, those weapons formed against me will not prosper.

I've faced a lot of battles this past year.  I've experienced a lot of disappointments but one thing is 100% sure.....God is always with me.  I am more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ.  God will always be by my side and He will always see me through.  God fights my battles for me when I surrender them to him.

I witnessed my grandparents, Clyde and Marie Walters, stand firm in their faith their whole lives.  I witnessed them put their trust in their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and live their faith out loud for all to see.   I am so glad I was influenced by their rock solid faith in Jesus Christ.

My prayer for each of you is for you to allow God to protect you from the enemy by surrendering your life to Him daily.  Claim Exodus 14:14 as your verse when you face your personal battles in life.  "The Lord will fight for you and you can remain at rest and have peace".

God sent his Son Jesus to this earth through the virgin birth to defeat Satan.  We have no need to fear.......a baby won the war!

     Have a very Merry CHRISTmas!
